What we fit and replace
If it carries water in a bathroom or kitchen, it's our patch. Day to day, that means:
- Basins, sinks and vanity units — supplied and connected, or fitted to a unit you've already bought
- Baths and bath panels, including the waste and trap
- Taps of every sort — see our dedicated taps page if a drip or a worn tap is the main job
- Mixer (non-electric) showers and shower valves
- Waste and trap connections, so nothing leaks under the unit
- Isolation valves, so the next repair doesn't mean draining the whole house
- Re-sealing around baths, basins and worktops to keep water where it belongs
Washing machines and dishwashers
Getting a washing machine or dishwasher plumbed in is one of the jobs we get asked for most. We fit the fill and waste connections, add an isolation valve so you can turn the appliance off on its own, and check there are no weeps before we leave. If you're moving an appliance to a spot with no existing plumbing, we can run new supply and waste to suit — just tell us where it's going when you book.
The bits we don't do — and why
Two honest boundaries, so there are no surprises on the day:
- Electric showers. An electric shower is wired into the mains, so it needs a Part P electrician for the electrics. We'll happily do the plumbing side — the water feed and the connections — but the wiring isn't ours to touch.
- Gas and boilers. We're a water plumbing firm and we're not Gas Safe registered. Anything to do with gas or a boiler needs a Gas Safe engineer.

How booking works
We work by appointment, not as a 24/7 call-out, so the simplest thing is to phone and tell us what you need. We'll book a slot that suits you and give you a price before any work starts. Ring Hull on 01482 680247 or Scunthorpe on 01724 501258.
If something's actively leaking — a split flexi tail under the sink, a tap that won't shut off — turn the water off at the stopcock first, usually under the kitchen sink, then phone us to book the repair in. A leak under a kitchen unit can soak chipboard and flooring fast. Where water has already got into the floor or units, we also hire out drying gear same-day so things dry out properly rather than sitting damp.
Tidy work, sensible prices
