Will one heater warm a whole house?

One probably will not — we usually supply our four-heater package for whole-property heating. For a single room or workshop, one is plenty.

What plug does it need?

Standard UK 13A — fan heaters at 2 kW each pull about 8.5 amps so each one needs its own socket.

Are they safe to leave running?

Yes, but follow basic care — keep an air gap around the unit, do not cover the inlet, and do not leave running unattended in a fire-risk environment.

How much does running one cost in electricity?

Around 60–70 p per hour at typical UK rates for a 2 kW heater. Multi-heater packages are commonly used in short bursts to bring a property up to temperature.

Can I use it in a marquee, tent or workshop?

Yes — they are commonly used for marquees, builders' working hours, garages and workshops. Phone us and we will help you size it.

How long can I keep it for?

As long as you need. Our weekly rate is the most economical for hires of three days or longer.
