Will it pump dirty water?

Our submersible pumps handle clean and lightly contaminated water. For heavily silted water (sewage, mud) phone us — we will discuss the right pump.

How fast will it empty a flooded basement?

Up to 7,500 litres per hour for our standard submersibles — typical small basement clears in 30–60 minutes once submerged.

Do I need a special outlet?

No — a standard 13A socket is fine. Use an extension cable if needed (RCD-protected, please).

Do you supply hose?

Yes — discharge hose comes with the pump as standard. Tell us roughly how far the water needs moving and we will supply enough length.

Can I use it for ponds, pools or hot tubs?

Absolutely. Submersibles are ideal for emptying ponds, pools and water features.

Will it run dry safely if the water level drops?

Most have a built-in float switch that cuts the motor when water gets too low. Worth confirming when we hand over the kit.
